Match Report: Mathare United Women FC 2 Trans Nzoia Falcons 6

We took on Trans Nzoia Falcons on Saturday on a 4-match losing streak.  We were condemned to our fifth consecutive loss and that meant the hunt for 3-points continues.

We started positively by scoring the fastest goal this season (9mins) after Raisy Sylvia put the ball in the path of an in-form Teresia Lundu who latched forward and took a shot that beat the keeper at the bottom right corner.

The visitors replied immediately with 3 quick goals. Thanks to their wingers who terrorized our defenders with their precise crosses that were difficult to clear in the goal area. At the break, we were trailing 4-1.

The second half started and the players looked rejuvenated from the coach's dressing room pep talk. The visitors continued where they left in the first 45 minutes and added their fifth goal. We also scored the second consolation goal a few minutes later after Dorah Achieng' looped the ball over the keeper after a good pass from the captain Diana Wachera.

The visitors put the last nail on the coffin when they buried the last and their sixth goal of the day. It was a disappointing match for Justin who made her season debut.
